HEARING FOR PROPOSED TAX RATE

In accordance with the requirements of KRS 160.70 (7)(b), the Hart County Board of Education is advertising a public hearing at the above date and time to hear public comments regarding proposed general fund tax levies on real and personal property.
The General Fund tax levied in the fiscal year 2024 was 57.5 cents on real property and 60.6 cents on personal property, per $100 assessed.
The required notice of hearing has been published in the Hart County News-Herald according to timelines set forth in the above statute by the Kentucky General Assembly.
